Didja miss me? I know I haven’t posted in MONTHS but I have been so busy with work and so tired when I come home that I just don’t seem to have the intellectual capacity to sit down and post. Well, that’s not quite true. In fact, I have a TON of uncompleted posts that seem to be my M.O.  I promise to finish this one, though, and actually post it…then maybe I will get to some of the ones that weren’t finished earlier….or maybe I will take a nap. 

Uh-oh. Now, I am out of things to talk about…which is SO funny because there seems to be so much to talk about. How ’bout that economy, huh? And what say you about those presidential debates? For some crazy reason all I feel like talking about is how excruciatingly hot this October is shaping up to be, and how much I miss a real honest-to-God fall….not complaining. Well, ok, I am complaining a little bit. 

So, let’s see…what else? Oh yes, Halloween. I am so excited that Halloween is coming up.  When I was younger I went through “holiday phases”. At times Easter was my favorite, at other times it was Christmas…and sometimes Halloween.  In recent years it has been Halloween. I find such wonderful ironic humor in the decor and I enjoy the community aspect of it. The little kids going to their neighbors house, the people trying to pick the best candy to give out…and then there is the Fall. There is something about a cozy sweater and a nice fire…the crip air and the spontaneous way it decides to rain. Let’s not forget pumpkin pie either.  Mmm…pump-kin.

Alright, well I am working myself up with all of this chit chat about pumpkin pie. 

 Just wanted to let you know I am alive.
