Oh ick, yuck, blech, grosstastic…

Ok, so this isn’t a post about boogers. This isn’t about some strange animal fact or anything…it is about this woman who I can barely believe I am writing about, about someone who has already gotten way too much media attention and frankly doesn’t deserve one more lick of webspace and yet–here I am–giving her that undeserved mention.

Why?

Well, I consider myself a member of the American public. As a member of the American public I feel as though I simply cannot stand idly by without expressing my out and out disgust with this individual of vile character.  I am talking about: Reille Hunter.

If you don’t yet know who she is, this is the ghastly woman that John Edwards has admitted to having an affair with.  (And who has likely given birth to his baby, despite the fact that he denies being the father–I mean, she’s getting $15,000.00 a month from his lawyer? Come ON!)

Anyways, I was perusing the news this morning when I saw that someone has dug up an interview with her from back in 2006 where she expresses her distaste for Elizabeth Edwards, stating that she, “does not give off good energy”.  Then, when Reille was fired weeks later from her $114,000.00 position with the Edwards campaign she called the same reporter to tell him that she blamed Elizabeth for the loss of her job, “Someday, the truth about her is going to come out.”

Oh really, Reille? And what truth would that be?

The plain and ugly truth, Ms. Hunter, is that the truth did come out (well, part of it, anyways…) and it is not about HER it’s about you.  I would venture to guess that you are the one with bad energy (you get back what you put out there). You picture alone gives off bad energy (yikes!).  Any woman with a husband and family can spot someone like you from a hundred miles away.  She probably couldn’t look you in the eye because she knew what you were up to, and she probably WAS responsible for your firing because her husband clearly couldn’t show enough dignity to get rid of you himself.

How could he with you stroking his ego is such an overblown and ridiculous way?? “Transformational leader” and “the power to change the world”? <<gag>> Come OFF IT! Honestly!? The guy that Rush Limbaugh refers to as “The Breck Girl”? (and deservedly so)…he admittedly became “self-focused” in such a way that he believed he could do whatever he wanted.  No man who becomes so full of power that he begins to take for himself without caring for the impact of his behavior on others can ever become a leader that will go down in history…at least not one listed among the greats, perhaps someone listed among the not so greats.

But this isn’t about him, this is about Reille…This is about a woman who decided that she was going to take something because she wanted it. She didn’t have any right to incinuate herself into someone else’s life or marriage and she should be hiding in shame and self-disgust not splattered across headlines with her pseudospiritual bullhockey.  She is not an enlightened or spritually functional individual…she is a selfish and self-important, self-involved person who seeks to destroy that which she cannot have for herself…stability.

I utterly and sincerely pray for that poor child–a child that will undoubtedly be used as a pawn in her games of manipulation…of course she won’t submit the child for a DNA test. Not when John Edwards is more likely than not telling her to say “no” while he says “yes”….he is, of course, footing the bill.

Yuck.
