I worked with the BBC to produce this article on Afghan’s hopes and
fears for the future.’ There two women I interviewed and photographed
were Nabeela Homi, a Kabul housewife, and Suraya Haidery, President of
the Beauticians Union of Kabul. Three of the photos at the top of the
page are ones I took in a Kabul residence for the disabled.
