Of all the things I should be doing right now, I am writing in my blog. I need to do this though. I need to take two seconds to slow my mind and write about the stuff going on. Not that what is going on is anything big but this is about the only way that people who know me will know that the reason I haven’t been in touch is because I am really busy and when I get home I fall asleep.
So, for the past couple of days my little girl Ally has been limping around the house like a cripple. At first Issa noticed it and I wasn’t too sure that she really was limping, I thought it was more of a “cool girl” swagger…Sunday, however, it was an obvious limp and yesterday it seemed she could barely get around which was pretty upsetting to me for a number of reasons but moslty because these things should be getting better, not worse…you know, if it was a simple injury.
Anyways, I decided to take her to the vet and so I leashed her up and she hobbled to the car. She hopped in and we drove to the emergency vet. The second we get there her hobble improves and she is running around just fine. Hopping up on the door, trying to escape and squeeking her little shrill squeek….
I jokingly commented to Issa on the phone that I thought that she was faking her injury to get attention from him because he has been too busy to notice her with all of his studying. So we see the vet and he concludes she jumped off the bed and probably landed wrong thus spraining her ankle or shoulder and that she should be fine in no time but he would give her some pain medicine to take the edge off if she was, in fact, in pain.
So, she is just fine and she is happy and relieved to get out of there and she runs to the car and hops in and she is so worn out from her experience that she falls asleep on the way home. We get to the house and she runs up the path and right when she gets to the threshold of the door what do you think she does? She starts limping. Drama queen.
Anyways, in other news. I recently acquired a Dyson courtesy of my mother and I cannot tell you how excited I am. Between the vaccum cleaner and the Beetle, I am one happy soul. Let me tell you. If you do not yet have a dyson, buy one. Save change, sell your liver, sell your kids…and buy one. The trick is to vaccum with your old vac first then go over it with the Dyson. You would be amazed! It not only makes your carpets look fresh and alive once again, it makes the air cleaner because you are not kicking around soo much dust when you walk. I am excited about carpeting next moth! Woohoo!
Other than that I am working on my website for the business that I think very well might be viable. The reason I think this might actually work is because it can start small with little to no overhead except for a little storage room and I already pay rent for that and if I run a business out of my home then I can use some portion of my rent for a tax write off and it’s just so exciting. I am already acting as a consultant to people, writing ads on craigslist….and that’s going well shaving a little off the top for commission….
Anyways, off I go to do some real work. Thanks for reading. Leave me a comment on myspace to make me feel special. Love ya’ll!
