So the other day Issa and I went to Fuddruckers and mid-fry I realized that I was fresh out of shampoo. Not wanting to take Issa home and then go out again, I convinced Issa to go with me across the parking lot to Target. When we got there, I was on the clock. Issa had to get back to studying and he graciously allowed me 10 minutes to gather the things I needed and get the heck out.
Well, I am the type of person who can’t make decisions on the clock so I quickly grabbed the first thing that looked like it would work–although I was reluctant, I didn’t have much of a choice. You see there, on the endcap of the shampoo aisle was Sunsilk. Now, until this point, I have been opposed to this shampoo thanks to the obnoxious commercial “Get Sunsilk. Get Hairapy!” That voice. ARGUHHH. I nervously stood in line and looked at the bottle hearing the voice over and over in my head.
As I heard the beep beep of the merchandise being dragged over the scanner, I took a deep sigh and gave in to my hairapy fate. The next morning, I got in the shower and was pleasantly surprised to find the puple shiny liquid and the lovely scent. Not so obnoxious after all. I put a small amount in my hair and WOAH what a lather. The conditioner was rich and creamy…
So, I got out and towel dried my hair. I began to dry my hair and I couldn’t believe how SHINY it was oh my goodness.
Now, I know some credit is owed to the woman who recently cut my hair…but between her and my hairapy…I look like one of the Real Housewives of OC with my shiny, freshly cut….bouncy pretty smelling hair….
So, as much as I hate to say get…go get yourself some Sunsilk. Get yourself some hairapy.

Becca and I both have recently discovered this wonderful brand of shampoo. I for one now have “bangin” hair (becca’s words, not mine)!
It’s true! I haven’t tried the purple kind, and I can’t tell from your picture, what issues does it claim to resolve? I currently use the pink shampoo (for split end repair/prevention) and the yellow conditioner (for volume) and as much as I too was annoyed by the commercials, when the stuff happened to be on sale the day I needed to buy new shampoo etc, well, you know the rest! Sale, nuf said. I unfortunately unlike the two of you, have not recently had a life-altering haircut.
We could be like the Sunsilk crew, the three of us. Personally I invested in the thermashine with the optional thermashine spray (which I alternate using with my Aveda Brilliant)….
I guess that’s their ploy–they just put it on sale when we run out of our current shampoo–the devious marketers.
Well Becca, I think that you might need a hairntervention….We think it’s time you get a life altering haircut…will you accept help TODAY?? Will you accept the hairhelp we are offing you TODAY??
I will accept the hair help anytime someone else will pay for it! Every spare penny of mine right now is being saved to get my son some begged-for tap lessons!
