I haven’t posted in a while. I have intended to but I just haven’t gotten around to it. Believe it or not I have been quite busy. So, here is a rundown of everything that is on my mind and I will try to keep posts more regular throughout the summer.
I got a haircut today. I can honestly count on two fingers (ha ha) the number of haircuts I have absolutely adored. This would be one of them. While I would like to take the credit for making a good choice in salon and having a clear idea of what I wanted, the honest truth is that the girl was a “Shear Genius”. She saw what my hair needed and I let her loose on my layers with minimal guidance. I now have a haircut with dimension, body and even a bit of an edge if I wanted to make it funky (as if I have time to do my hair–HAH!). Honestly, I will never go back to 20.00 haircuts.
Yo Tengo Un BUG! Yes, well as you may know already I have acquired my own motorvehicle. A GREEN BEETLE! No, not that type of Beetle–SILLY!
. I got a stellar deal and it really was fate the way I found the car. I am enjoying riing around in my leather seats with the tooshie warmers and the sunroof. His official name? Shrek.
A story that brought tears to my eyes. Well, this story could have been tragic so I have to preface this by saying that I am so glad the guy is alright, otherwise it would not be funny at all…but I also have to say that I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard. Tears were streaming down my face. I was choking and coughing…it’s one of those horrible things you can’t help. I doubt anyone involved was laughing…again, thank the Lord above he wasn’t injured.
The Shopping Vortex. I can’t very well sit at home all summer while Issa studies for the bar. I have to keep myself busy and bring in a little income. So, I set out yesterday to find myself as job and then I stopped at Ross to find some work clothes….and it was there, in the last row of the Juniors section that I entered a shopping vortex feared by many experienced by few….After pulling a number of items from the rack, I entered the fitting room and <
I suppose that’s all for now. I am sure there is tons more to talk about but you probably know the story…so I will catch up with you later. Bye for now!

I LOVE Ross! We had those all over the Phoenix area. Glad to hear things are going so well for you back in Cali. Color me completely GREEN with envy over your little bug. Of course, I will probably never be able to get such a small car–have fun with it! (Just watch out for semi’s, you’re still pretty small compared to them!)
That’s right, Jess… watch out for the Semi’s, what if they don’t realize that they hook you onto their grill and then take you on a ride for four miles reaching speeds at up to 50 miles an hour… you MIGHT SPILL YOUR SODA!!!
Kate
P.S. I’ll keep your seat in outer darkness warm when I get there
Oh Kate, if it weren’t for you knowing I am not a horrible person you would think I am. Thank goodness I am not a newscaster. I wouldn’t have been able to make it through that story.
Becca, you should hop in your minivan with the heated seats and haul Kate out here so we can all go shopping at Ross. It’s honestly one of the best stores ever. I am returning something there today and I am afraid that I am going to get sucked in again (I probably will).
As for my bug? Yeah I will try to not get attached to any grills…like the other bugs.
